Favorite Reads of 2020!!

 What a year!!

A lot of things happened this year. I know many of us have struggled due to the Corona crisis. It was a horrible year, yet it was good for me. I managed to read 25 books. I know it's nothing comparing to what I used to read but still a record to me.

Some were a Meh, some were acceptable, and some wonderful!!

So, here's my favorite 6 reads of this year:

6- The Lightning thief:

Lightning thief algerian

I know I'm a bit late to read this book but later better than never. I picked this book randomly. I was in a reading slump. So, I was looking for a light easy read and I found this one in my library waiting for me to devour it. This book was amazing. I loved the humor, the suspense, and mostly the Greek myth in it. all these elements made this book my favorite read of this year!

5- Kingdom of Ash:

Kingdom Of Ash Algeria

Ah, Sarah J.Maas! Her writings never disappoint   me. At first, I was intimidated by the length of this book. It took me great courage to start reading it. In the beginning, the plot started slow but it picked it up after 100 pages, and everything happened fast. I certainly didn't want this series to end. I'm going to miss these characters a lot. The book was a fascinating closure for this splendid series. It was the most extraordinary adventure I had in these past years with this sequel.

4- The Nevernight Chronicles (The first two books):

WOW!! I started reading this book with low expectations. I heard so much about it but I didn't expect that this Master Piece worth all this hype. I was going to DNF at the beginning but I forced myself and kept reading it. And I loved each word written it. The world-building was original, the characters were all ruthless and fearless, and the writing was so vivid. Ah! I can't tell you how much I loved this book

3- All your Perfects:

And now I confirmed that Colleen Hoover is my favorite author!! The story is about a married couple; Quinn and Graham, which they are madly in love. But something got into their marriage and tried to rip them apart. And that something is Infertility. I went into this amazing story blindly. I didn't know a thing about it. And like any other  Colleen Hoover's books, they get me hooked and I can't put them.

I enjoyed each word written in it. The writing was light and easy to read yet it was full of emotions and heavy feelings. Each scene passed in was so vivid and full of life. And this what made this book in the top favorite read of this year.

2-Hunger Games:

One day I was bored and I needed a quick small book. So I picked The Hunger Games. The first chapters were childish but then when the game began I couldn't put this book down. Maan!! The suspense in it made my heart beat faster and faster in each chapter I read it. It was a stunning read and it blew my mind!

1- Harry Potter series:

In the past, I only read the first two books. So this year I decided to continue reading it. And God!! It was an amazing beautiful adventure. I don't know how to express my feelings about this amazing series. Harry Potter was always my favorite story of all the time but when I read the books, it became the number one story in my life. Harry Potter has a special place in my heart and no book can take its place.
